Overview

A dynamic platform dedicated to empowering workers and job seekers is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to join their finance team. This role involves analyzing financial data, assessing creditworthiness, and supporting the underwriting process for commercial clients. Responsibilities

  • Analyze loan data and financial information for new, renewal, and existing loans, including data from credit bureaus, financial institutions, and internal files.
  • Complete credit memos and underwriting requests for various banking products such as commercial credit, remote deposit capture, and ACH services.
  • Prepare detailed spreadsheets, reports, summaries, and expert opinions for bank officers.
  • Assign risk ratings to borrowers to provide clear credit risk assessments.
  • Provide technical support to loan officers.
  • Assist in developing credit policies.
  • Assume additional responsibilities to ensure efficient and accurate credit analysis processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting.
  • Minimum of two years of credit analysis experience preferred, or at least one year as a Junior Commercial Credit Analyst.
  • Strong financial analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, risk assessment, and credit evaluation processes.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
