Overview
A reputable medical firm with multiple locations across the United States, including Oregon, is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to join their Accounts Payable department remotely from Oregon. The organization focuses on delivering high-quality healthcare solutions and supporting professional growth within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Index and file invoices for easy retrieval and record-keeping
- Identify unpaid invoices and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve discrepancies
- Disburse petty cash and monitor its usage
- Evaluate and process employee and executive expense reports efficiently
- Prepare and issue checks for disbursement in a timely manner
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate vendor records, including contact and payment details
- Review and approve purchase orders in accordance with company policies
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with employees and vendors
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data entry or accounts payable, or a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field
- Typing speed of at least 8,000 KPH with minimal errors
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial information
- Excellent organizational and bookkeeping skills
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to accept and incorporate constructive criticism for continuous improvement
- Proficiency in office software and data management systems
