Financial Analysis Analyst

Overview

This is a temporary contractor position employed by Magnit. The role involves providing professional financial analysis and handling compliance-related assignments and projects within a healthcare or insurance context.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and respond to pharmacy pricing appeals
• Review and respond to Department of Insurance complaints
• Monitor external-facing email communications, providing guidance and answering inquiries
• Communicate externally with pharmacies and state Departments of Insurance
• Assist with ad hoc data outputs related to claims, pharmacy appeals, and Department of Insurance complaints
• Conduct audits to ensure data controls are maintained
• Perform appeal reviews and manage external communications
• Assist with ad hoc automation testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in finance, accounting, or a highly analytical position
• Experience in healthcare or insurance industry preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey analytical results to diverse audiences
• Experience working in a highly regulated business environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated team player comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Innovative with a strong desire to learn

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay range: $21 to $25 per hour (dependent on location, experience, and expectations)
• Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) (subject to minimum eligibility hours)
