Financial Analysis Senior Analyst

Overview

This is a temporary contractor position employed by a staffing agency, not by the organization or its subsidiaries.

The Financial Analysis Senior Analyst role involves providing professional analysis and input on complex data sets and compliance projects. The analyst will independently communicate with pharmacies and clients, responding to inquiries and appeals. Responsibilities include conducting appeal reviews, handling department of insurance complaints, and managing external communications. The role also supports ad hoc automation testing and may perform audits to ensure data controls are maintained. This position requires autonomous work with minimal technical support and the ability to apply judgment in selecting and adapting analytical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and respond to pharmacy pricing appeals
• Review and respond to department of insurance complaints
• Monitor external-facing email, providing guidance and answering questions
• Communicate externally with pharmacies and state Departments of Insurance
• Assist with ad hoc data outputs related to claims, pharmacy appeals, and insurance complaints

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in finance, accounting, or a highly analytical role
• Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working in a highly regulated business environment
• Ability to communicate analytical results effectively to diverse audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated team player comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Willingness to learn and innovate
