Overview

This role involves a Financial Analyst position supporting financial analysis through spreadsheet work, careful review of assumptions, variances, and financial trends. You will help stakeholders understand both what changed and why it may matter.

Compensation

• Salary: $71,000-$79,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Review source information and validate calculations before financial analysis is distributed or relied upon.
• Reconcile information across schedules or reports and investigate material inconsistencies.
• Communicate financial findings in concise business language, including risks, limitations, and areas requiring follow-up.
• Build and maintain spreadsheet-based financial models for planning, comparison, and scenario analysis.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, and other financial or operating measures to identify performance drivers.
• Perform trend, sensitivity, and scenario analysis to show how changing assumptions may affect expected results.
• Ensure financial models and schedules remain understandable after the immediate task is complete (clear labels, documented assumptions, reasonable checks, and organized formulas).
• Move between financial statements, spreadsheet schedules, operating metrics, and forecast assumptions as needed, while maintaining checkable calculations and clear assumptions.

Requirements

• Ability to compare results, identify material variances, and explain the drivers behind a financial change.
• Ability to manage assigned priorities independently while collaborating through digital tools in a remote environment.
• Organized documentation habits and an appreciation for traceable financial analysis.
• Interest in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and forward-looking business planning.
• Comfort learning company-specific reporting definitions, schedules, and planning processes.
• Demonstrated remote-work capability, including steady follow-through, organized communication, and timely questions when clarification is needed.
