Role Description

The EDP Staff II position involves working closely with federal agencies and Fortune 500 companies to support their financial operations and ensure compliance with federal standards. The role requires leveraging analytical skills, critical thinking, and industry knowledge to optimize program execution, improve financial processes, and support audit readiness efforts. Responsibilities include analyzing industry trends, identifying control gaps, recommending process improvements, reviewing work for quality and accuracy, and fostering professional growth through reflection and feedback. Effective communication and relationship-building skills are essential to influence stakeholders and maintain ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop self-awareness by utilizing feedback and reflection to identify strengths and areas for development.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, providing coaching and stretch opportunities to team members.
  • Apply critical thinking to organize unstructured problems and analyze complex situations.
  • Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from industry and sector trends to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to maintain SECRET federal security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited U.S. college or university in Business, Accounting, or Finance. Advanced degrees in Finance or Business may be considered if the candidate holds a relevant Bachelor's Degree in another field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience providing accounting, finance, business management, or IT services to Federal Government agencies or Fortune 500 companies, including audit readiness, audit remediation, and financial statement audits.
  • At least 1 year of experience with DoD ERP/SAP and Logistic Systems.
  • Experience supporting audit readiness, audit remediation, or performing financial statement audits within the federal government.

  • Experience as an analyst or in a similar role.
