Financial Analyst Senior Staff - F-35 Development- Level 5

Overview

This role supports the Senior Manager – Business Operations for F-35 Development Programs, providing financial oversight and business management for the contract portfolio. The position requires broad business acumen including familiarity with proposals, contracts, estimating, financial planning, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial oversight for new proposals and ensure contracts have sound cost and financial baselines
• Conduct financial risk assessments and develop accurate financial forecasts
• Support establishment of program ground rules for Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) planning
• Prepare and submit contractual deliverables such as Cost Performance Reports (CPR) and Contract Funding Status Reports (CFSR)
• Identify areas for cost improvement and support implementation of corrective actions
• Develop and monitor program termination liability and funding forecasts
• Prepare and conduct Contract Status Reviews on program financial status
• Coordinate across multiple program and functional areas to support business objectives

Requirements

• Experience with Earned Value (EV) applications
• Knowledge of US Government reporting requirements including CPR and CFSR
• Experience with contract and proposal processes and procedures
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR)
• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain special facility access
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 13+ years of professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with business systems such as SAP, CostView/COBRA, ADAR, Hyperion
• Working knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) including Orders, Sales, EBIT, and Cash
