Overview
A financial services organization specializing in payment processing solutions is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its finance team. This role involves detailed analysis of payment processing data, development of pricing proposals for prospective clients, and evaluation of potential profitability. The position offers opportunities to expand into broader financial analysis, performance tracking, compensation management, and cost oversight.
Responsibilities
- Analyze credit card processing statements to create accurate pricing proposals and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to identify strategic market opportunities and manage portfolio profitability.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly reports on core company metrics.
- Conduct portfolio and industry research to inform company strategy.
- Analyze company segments including revenue trends, operational expenses, and overall business metrics.
- Develop forecasting models and perform variance analysis to identify improvements in business metrics and internal processes.
- Train new Sales and Operations staff on industry best practices and corporate pricing strategies.
- Manage additional departmental projects and operational responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant financial experience, preferably in payments, fintech, or SaaS industries.
- Experience in corporate finance, pricing strategy, or sales operations workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with clear written and oral communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, with proven problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in deadline-sensitive environments with an entrepreneurial and results-oriented approach.
- Resourcefulness in ambiguous situations.
- Remote workspace must have a wired internet connection with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation:
- Base salary range of $80,000 to $95,000 per year, negotiable based on qualifications.
