FP&A Anaplan Manager (100% Virtual/Remote)

Overview

This role is responsible for delivering Anaplan planning solutions and supporting continuous improvement of key planning processes. You will contribute to the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, corporate cost support, and long-range planning modeling. You will also help drive alignment between functional finance, field finance, and Senior Finance leadership on assumptions, inputs, and process timing.

This position is segmented as Remote Anywhere, meaning the work is completed 100% remote anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii or United States Territories.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Finance Anaplan Admin Support Team, driving connected financial planning solutions
• Lead technical architecture and design activities, including prototyping, process design (scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures, and supporting implementations
• Evaluate new design specifications, raise quality standards, and address architectural concerns
• Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models
• Modify existing models for connected solutions, optimization, or new functionality
• Provide timely, candid feedback and progress updates to business partners and Anaplan SMEs
• Create and run financial reports using PeopleSoft, Anaplan, and other relevant software packages on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Support systems strategy by developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
• Use independent judgment within defined policies and procedures to determine appropriate action
• Lead a small team to deliver value-add, sustainable solutions; model best practices for model builders
• Make a hands-on contribution to the development of optimization products
• Develop model documentation and ensure adherence to company standards
• Author, document, and maintain the associated code base and unit tests; follow industry-standard coding practices
• Lead data integration and migration solutions, and manage UAT testing and deployment of designed solutions
• Proactively prioritize projects, manage customer expectations, and organize the team’s efforts for effectiveness
• Act as a source of technical expertise and mentor across development teams

Relationships

• Internal: Functional Finance Teams (Sales Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Broadline Support Business Finance, and Field Finance), IT, Other Anaplan Users

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-8 years’ experience building relevant system models
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology, including requirements gathering, design, build/test, training, change management, and deployment (Agile methodology preferable)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• 1+ years Anaplan experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead and execute multiple responsibilities simultaneously with a “roll-up your sleeves” approach

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or Computer Science

Compensation & Benefits

• This role will also receive an annual incentive plan bonus.

• Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state or local minimum wage thresholds).
• Expected base rate for this role is between $85,000 - $135,000.
