Investment Analyst | Upto $105/hr

Overview

A remote contract opportunity is available for a Junior Investment Analyst (Buy-Side) working 10–20 hours per week with compensation of $105 per hour. This role involves supporting AI model training through equity and macroeconomic research.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equity and macroeconomic research across various sectors to support AI model development.
• Build and interpret financial models including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and scenario analysis.
• Analyze earnings reports, regulatory filings, and market data to improve AI model outputs.
• Assist in generating investment theses and risk assessments to refine AI-generated insights.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for financial accuracy and quality of reasoning.
• Collaborate with senior experts to enhance model outputs and datasets.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, or buy-side roles.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial modeling techniques.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA Level I or II candidate.
• Experience with public equities or asset management.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Python or SQL.
