Overview

A healthcare organization is seeking a Lead Director of Trade Industry Analysis to join their team remotely. This role focuses on supporting financial discipline related to P&L visibility, margin improvement, and overall business performance. The position involves partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance planning processes, financial controls, and resource allocation. It offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within the healthcare sector.

Location: Remote (US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available)

Compensation: $100,000 – $231,540 annually

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive strategies to improve financial performance and profitability
  • Identify and evaluate strategies to optimize client value in response to market changes
  • Collaborate with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) functions to reduce client net costs
  • Create processes to manage rebate and margin impacts related to formulary strategies
  • Lead a team in designing and delivering analytic solutions for rebate strategies
  • Act as a cross-functional partner to assess the impact of market events
  • Support team member development through coaching and training

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managed care with a focus on financial strategy
  • Strong knowledge of the evolving pharmaceutical regulatory environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience with Excel-based financial modeling
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare, business, or a related field required; MBA or Master's degree preferred

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturer market access strategy
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturer pricing and contracting strategy
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical government pricing programs (AMP, Best Price, ASP, 340B)
  • Experience with pharmaceutical data analytics tools such as SAS, R, or Python
  • Proficiency with business intelligence platforms like Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience using statistical analysis software such as SPSS
