OneStream Solution Architect

Overview

This role involves serving as an experienced OneStream Solution Architect within the organization’s OneStream practice. Responsibilities include leading the discovery through deployment lifecycle for OneStream solutions delivered to clients, with a focus on Financial Close & Consolidation, Budgeting & Forecasting, and Business Intelligence solutions.

The position requires a thorough understanding of OneStream’s financial engine and consolidations, along with the ability to translate client requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant OneStream architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end OneStream solution delivery, including discovery, requirements, design, build, test, and deployment.
• Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements and create OneStream application and solution design documentation.
• Design a comprehensive infrastructure framework within the OneStream financial application, considering scalability, performance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and demonstrate OneStream proof of concepts as needed to optimize performance.
• Guide technical solution development and facilitate OneStream solution and architecture reviews to ensure cross-division alignment.
• Oversee solution quality and testing, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Work with clients to create a roadmap that communicates overall solution vision; identify opportunities within client financial close and planning processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the development and maturity of the Finance OneStream Center of Excellence (COE) technical governance framework, including standards, policies, principles, and procedures.
• Collaborate with clients to design and develop business intelligence, analytics, and reporting solutions.
• Interact with organization and client leadership to manage OneStream clients and engagements.
• Stay current on advancements in OneStream’s core platform, marketplace solutions, and AI capabilities.
• Support the development of junior staff by leading training sessions, developing training programs, and coaching team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• Experience implementing a leading financial planning and consolidation software (EPM/CPM solution)—OneStream or Oracle EPM/PBCS highly preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of technical architecture experience, with a minimum of three (3) years dedicated to OneStream implementations.
• Strong knowledge of the financial close and consolidation process, including account reconciliation, currency translations, intercompany eliminations, top-side entries, and financial statements.
• Deep understanding of .NET and SQL development and how to best develop within OneStream engines.
• OneStream Certified Professional (OCP) – Lead Architect certification.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, commit to continuous learning, demonstrate appropriate ethical knowledge, exhibit a sense of urgency, and deliver high-quality results on a timely basis.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $100,000 to $182,400.
• Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, professional certifications, work arrangements, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs.
