Pharmacy Rebate/ Network Financial Analyst

Overview

This role supports analytics and financial strategy related to formulary rebate and pharmacy network optimization. You will work with a small, collaborative team to help drive improved health and financial outcomes for consumers through advanced analytics, clinical insights, and digital capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytics support and recommendations to senior leadership on initiatives related to formulary rebate and pharmacy network optimization strategies
• Develop tools and processes to monitor revenue performance and implement tasks to meet or exceed performance targets
• Create and implement metrics and measures to establish performance objectives for revenue maximization
• Collaborate with business partners to understand goals, develop predictive modeling, statistical analyses, data reports, and performance metrics
• Design and maintain policy and procedures supporting overall compliance, including contract and state/regulatory requirements
• Use technology expertise to identify and implement automation opportunities through artificial intelligence across the enterprise

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or other related area, or equivalent work-related experience
• 3+ years’ experience in Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) experience
• Ability to understand and evaluate risk
• Experience supporting and managing contractual guarantees
• 1+ years’ experience with modeling and data management
• Advanced SQL, DB Visualizer, and Excel skills required
• Tableau/Power BI experience a plus
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills with a high degree of mathematical aptitude
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to interact with senior management and key business users
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task

• Actual base salary varies based on relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location
• Expected base salary:
  • New Jersey: between $95,000 USD to $105,000 USD
  • Massachusetts: between $95,000 USD to $105,000 USD
