Overview
This position is responsible for providing analytics support and recommendations to senior leadership related to formulary rebate and pharmacy network optimization strategies. The role focuses on monitoring revenue performance, developing performance metrics, and partnering with business stakeholders to build predictive models and data reports.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytics support and recommendations to senior leadership regarding initiatives related to formulary rebate and pharmacy network optimization strategies
- Develop tools and processes to monitor revenue performance and execute tasks needed to achieve or exceed performance targets
- Create and implement metrics and measures to establish performance objectives for revenue maximization
- Collaborate with business partners to understand goals, develop predictive modeling, conduct statistical analyses, and produce data reports and performance metrics
- Design and maintain policy and procedures supporting overall compliance, including contract and state/regulatory requirements
- Leverage technology expertise across the enterprise to identify and implement opportunities for automation through artificial intelligence
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or other related area, or equivalent work-related experience
- Must have 3+ years’ experience in Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) experience
- Must be able to understand and evaluate risk
- Experience supporting and managing contractual guarantees
- 1+ years’ experience with modeling and data management
- Advanced SQL, DB Visualizer and Excel skills required
- Tableau/Power BI experience a plus
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills with a high degree of mathematical aptitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to interact with senior management and key business users
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task

- Actual base salary varies based on relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location
- Expected base salary by location:
- New Jersey: $95,000 to $105,000
- Massachusetts: $95,000 to $105,000
