Overview
This is a fully remote role.
The organization is a women-led energy transformation firm focused on clean energy solutions for utilities and commercial, industrial, and residential energy sectors. This position supports the pricing strategy for software-enabled clean energy solutions and helps ensure pricing compliance with RFP requirements, influencing deal capture and win rates.
Responsibilities
- Review RFP requirements and manage pricing activities throughout the proposal process
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners to align pricing solutions
- Collaborate to understand cost components of products and services
- Collect, validate, and consolidate pricing inputs from various sources
- Manage deadlines to ensure pricing inputs and approvals are completed before submissions
- Complete required proposal and finance-related documentation accurately
- Analyze benchmarks, market trends, competitor data, and client feedback to set competitive pricing
- Present pricing models and financial analyses to leadership for approval
- Develop improved pricing models to increase margins and win rates
- Drive process improvements and best practices in pricing
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, energy, engineering, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in business consulting, finance, engineering, or related area
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office Suite, CRM (Salesforce), and BI/BA tools
- Strong financial and analytical skills with experience in pricing tools
- Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Collaborative and proactive engagement with leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in operations analysis or business consulting
- Development of pricing templates, models, and scenario planning
- Financial analysis or corporate finance background
- Presentation experience to senior management
- Client-facing experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $60,000 to $80,000, with potential discretionary annual bonus
- Final compensation is based on experience, education, and location
