Overview
Position: Pricing and Bid Analyst
Primary Location: Home Based, Canada or US
Reports to: Bid and Pricing Operations Manager
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 (base salary only; excludes bonus, benefits, pension contributions, and additional incentives)
Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay within the range depends on work location, skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific salary details can be discussed during the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Manage bid resources including email and subscriptions for upcoming municipal bid opportunities in the United States.
- Provide process and workload support to the bid specialist.
- Analyze, compile, administer, and input customer pricing agreements and price lists, ensuring updates to pricing and contract terms are optimized for SAP.
- Serve as a project expert for initiatives related to pricing improvements or implementations.
- Maintain and generate reports to support data-driven decisions and workflows, ensuring data integrity.
- Obtain bid results and document them in appropriate software/systems (SAP).
- Manage and document management approvals for price levels, surcharge calculations, and contract terms.
- Facilitate pricing audits to ensure price accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve pricing disparities with customers.
- Initiate bid calls to ensure timely receipt of bid proposals.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, preferably in a related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and follow-up skills.
- SAP experience preferred.

Location
This is a home-based position open to candidates located in Canada or the United States.
