Private Markets Analyst

Overview

This role involves onboarding qualified finance professionals as Certified Private Markets Analysts within a private capital ecosystem. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through a certification and verification process, and gain access to live deal flow and paid analytical projects supporting investors, fund managers, and operators.

Responsibilities

Depending on certification approvals, analysts may engage in:

• Financial Modeling & Valuation:
  • 3-statement financial models
  • Commercial real estate underwriting
  • DCF / LBO modeling
  • Sensitivity and scenario analysis
  • Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
  • Football field valuation summaries
• Due Diligence & Investment Support:
  • Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
  • Commercial and operational diligence
  • Risk assessment
  • Investment memo support

Note: Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance.

Requirements

To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:

• Score 70% or higher in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
• Completion of approved financial training
• Hold an active professional credential such as CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent

Certification Tiers and Compensation

Analyst levels, rating scores, and typical pay ranges are as follows:

Analysts receive an Analyst Rating Score (0–100) that determines platform visibility, approved work categories, and recommended hourly rates.

Compensation & Deal Terms

• Analysts are independent contractors, not employees.
• Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level.
• Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees, with a maximum deal-based earning of $2,500 per transaction.
• Payments are issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection.
• Approvals may be revoked for quality or compliance issues.

Compliance

Analysts do not:

• Provide investment advice
• Solicit securities
• Represent the platform in a regulated capacity

All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and financial support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.

How to Start Earning

• Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training.
• Receive category-specific approvals (Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence).
• Get verified on the platform.
• Begin earning income immediately through hourly projects and live deal work.

No cold applying or unpaid experience is required. Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.
