Overview

A remote position is available for a Program Control Analyst II to support program control functions with a focus on budget and financial management.

Responsibilities

  • Review budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with procedures and regulations.
  • Draft technical documentation related to budget assessments.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of financial expenditures.
  • Prepare preliminary cost-benefit analyses.
  • Coordinate funding requests between internal departments and the Program Management Office (PMO).
  • Track budget milestones and ensure accuracy of financial data entry.
  • Collect cost data for quarterly reviews and verify documentation of expenditures according to established standards.
  • Maintain collaborative financial tracking systems to provide real-time visibility of mission-critical funding status.
  • Take direction, guidance, and mentoring from senior staff members.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience relevant to the position.
  • Foundational certifications in program control or budgeting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with specialized financial or budgeting software such as GFEBS or DEAMS.
  • Experience with military logistics financial reporting requirements.

Clearance Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Confidential level security clearance prior to starting the position.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
  • Frequent operation of a computer and other office equipment such as calculators, copy machines, and printers.
  • Frequent communication with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information.
