Overview
A Clinical Development Services-Finance team is seeking a Project Finance Analyst to support biotech, medtech, and specialty pharma companies in advancing new medicines, devices, and diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Review contract payment schedules and prepare monthly fee-for-service and pass-through invoices for assigned projects
- Analyze contracts, including budgets and hours, to ensure proper setup in the financial system and create internal tracking worksheets
- Calculate monthly contract revenue for assigned projects
- Assist Project Managers in analyzing monthly reports to track project profitability
- Attend all project-related meetings for assigned projects
- Calculate monthly backlog for assigned projects
- Support Project and Finance managers and core team members with project-related questions, concerns, and analyses
- Analyze change orders for incorporation into original contracts
- Prepare cash flow analyses to create payment schedules
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of one year of related experience in an accounting or finance role within a Contract Research Organization (CRO)
- Experience with revenue recognition systems
- Highly detail-oriented
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Compensation & Benefits
- Annualized minimum base pay: $55,000.00 USD
- Actual salary will be based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency
