Overview

This role involves serving as a Property Management Accountant supporting the financial planning and analysis function for a Global Technology client. The position is remote for the posted locations and requires working Pacific and Central time zone hours as needed. The accountant will act as a liaison between the Finance Manager and Property Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, conduct performance reviews, and mentor team members
  • Resolve complex problems and identify effective solutions to meet team objectives
  • Ensure personal and team outcomes positively impact customer goals
  • Lead by example and model professional behaviors
  • Guide the team in applying knowledge of practices and procedures
  • Build consensus among stakeholders
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for various business units
  • Provide financial guidance and support to business leaders and teams
  • Identify and analyze complex financial issues and recommend resolutions
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Thorough understanding of accounting fundamentals
  • In-depth knowledge of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function; basic knowledge of related functions
  • Ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information clearly
  • Expert proficiency with Google Workspace
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset
  • Exceptional math skills, including calculating percentages, discounts, and markups

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay range: $30.29 to $32.21, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience
  • Eligibility for discretionary bonus based on applicable benefit program
  • Benefits include 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, and vision insurance

Location

  • Remote position with required availability during Pacific and Central time zone hours
