Remote CPA Accountant / Relationship Manager

Overview

100% remote role for an Accountant/Relationship Manager (CPA required). This is a permanent direct hire position with 40-hour weeks year-round and salary compensation (not hourly).

• Starting salary: $85,000
• Path to $205,000 salary: client-based progression
• Unlimited PTO and benefits
• Availability requirement: must be available between 8:30 and 4:30 CST to answer questions (with flexibility outside those hours)

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary: $85,000
• Salary progression based on client count (clients provided by the firm):
  • $85,000 (50 clients)
  • $125,000 (75 clients)
  • $165,000 (100 clients)
  • Up to $205,000 salary (125 clients)
  • Possible equity after reaching the top salary level

Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping
• Prepare monthly reports
• Support tax planning
• Manage payroll processing
• Complete 1099 reporting
• Handle annual report filings
• Manage client communication and relationship support, including tax preparation

Weekly time split (estimated):

• 20 hours technical work weekly
• 10–20 hours client communication, relationship management, and tax preparation for clients

Requirements

• Must be a CPA
• Experience in a small to medium-sized firm
• Availability between 8:30 and 4:30 CST to answer questions (flexible hours otherwise)
