Remote - Senior Financial Analyst I

Overview

This role reports to the Manager of Finance and is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting complex financial information to support operational and strategic decision-making. The position provides financial support including oversight and analytical assistance for the monthly close process, coordination and assistance in the annual budget process, preparation and review of account reconciliations and annual audit schedules, as well as various other financial analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of five years of accounting or financial analysis experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial applications and processes
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation abilities
• Ability to work effectively with leadership teams
• Skilled in framing analytical questions, performing financial analyses, and communicating results
• Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently to meet project deadlines
• Ability to handle and preserve confidential information
• Travel requirements may vary by position and location

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree specifically in Accounting
• CPA licensure preferred
• Experience in healthcare financial reporting
• Experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft PowerPoint
