REMOTE - Senior Manager - Client Accounting Services

Overview

A top national professional services firm specializing in assurance, tax, and consulting solutions is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their rapidly growing Outsourced Accounting group. The firm has over 600 employees and is recognized as one of the top-rated midsize firms in the region. This is a remote position offering a salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close processes for a portfolio of clients
• Review and direct the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Manage payroll processes ensuring timely execution
• Oversee monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with payroll, sales, and use tax reporting requirements
• Administer and maintain charts of accounts and cloud-based accounting platforms
• Design and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial integrity
• Deliver complete and accurate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Create financial analyses, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational reporting for clients
• Prepare budgets and forecasts and maintain them within financial systems

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting management, preferably within client accounting services
• Strong knowledge of modern, cloud-based finance tools
• Ability to lead and coach junior team members
• Experience managing payroll and tax compliance
• Skilled in financial statement preparation and financial analysis
