Seasonal Staffing Payroll Assistant

Overview

A temporary Seasonal Staffing Payroll Assistant position is available to support high-volume workforce operations during the peak season from September through the end of December. This fully remote role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate tracking and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Audit daily employee time punches, collaborating with onsite teams to collect and enter any missing data.
• Track daily employee attendance, including approved time off, no call/no shows, and call outs; monitor onsite voicemail and desktop chats to complete status checks.
• Manage attendance points for disciplinary or coaching actions.
• Maintain applicant and employee records across various systems with accurate data entry and file management.
• Assist with daily reporting tasks, such as updating attendance reports and maintaining the Google Sheets roster.
• Provide administrative support for other high-volume tasks to ensure smooth peak season operations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas, sorting, and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with numerical data and scheduling.
• Ability to multitask and switch between tasks efficiently without losing focus.
• Reliable attendance, including mandatory weekend work starting mid-November.
• Previous experience in HR, staffing, administrative data entry, or operations is highly preferred.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, paid weekly (approximately $720 - $800 gross per week).
• Schedule:
  • Weekdays: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST.
  • Weekends (starting mid-November): 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
  • Weekend work is mandatory once 7-day coverage begins; two weekdays off will be provided (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday).

Location

• Fully remote position.
• Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours as specified, including every Saturday and Sunday during peak weekend coverage.
