Senior Accountant

Overview

A Senior Accountant position is available within the Corporate Accounting team to support ongoing growth and operational needs. This role focuses on enhancing controls and processes to meet reporting requirements and scale the business effectively. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with senior team members on core accounting functions including journal entries and month-end close activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day general ledger functions such as leases, equity, capitalized software, and allocations
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Support the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to gather information and resolve accounting-related inquiries
• Maintain and adhere to documented accounting policies and procedures
• Assist with year-end audit requests and regulatory filings
• Support technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in private industry or public accounting
• Solid understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in digital healthcare
• Experience with NetSuite accounting software
• Experience streamlining accounting processes

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000 USD (remote position)
