Overview
A SaaS company specializing in go-to-market solutions for revenue teams is seeking a Senior Accountant, Revenue. The organization provides a unified platform with verified B2B contact data and outreach automation tools, serving a global user base ranging from startups to large enterprises. Founded in 2015, the company has experienced significant growth and investment.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end revenue close activities, including journal entries
- Perform reconciliations of invoices, deposits, and revenue-related accounts
- Review customer contracts to identify obligations and determine revenue recognition timing
- Maintain and improve revenue recognition documentation for audits
- Reconcile revenue sub-ledger to general ledger across multiple systems
- Run SQL queries for revenue data extraction and analysis
- Investigate data anomalies and coordinate with related teams to resolve issues
- Develop scalable reconciliation frameworks
- Prepare documentation for external audits
- Support revenue recognition remediation and process improvements
- Conduct technical accounting research and update policies
- Collaborate with Finance Systems, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Billing teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience focused on revenue accounting
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and contract review
- Experience handling high transaction volumes and complex data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification or pursuit
- Experience in Big 4 or public accounting with revenue clients
- Proficiency with NetSuite
- SQL skills for large data analysis
- Familiarity with Snowflake or cloud data warehouses
- Experience in SaaS or high-growth startup environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Total cash compensation range: $112,600—$140,800 USD (base salary plus bonus)
