Overview

This role is for a Senior Associate with strong analytical skills and in-depth healthcare knowledge. The position involves leading projects, collaborating with team members, anticipating challenges, and ensuring project progress through clear communication and sound decision-making. Senior Associates are expected to take full ownership of their work, continuously seek improvement, and contribute to both project outcomes and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial modeling and analysis to evaluate the financial health and performance of healthcare organizations involved in transactions.
  • Analyze financial statements, revenue streams, profitability, and key financial metrics.
  • Conduct extensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the healthcare sector.
  • Gather and analyze data on market size, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and industry dynamics.
  • Assist in due diligence by collecting and reviewing contracts, financial records, operational data, and regulatory filings.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities for value creation during the transaction process.
  • Contribute to valuation analyses of entities and service agreements using various techniques.
  • Develop high-quality deliverables supporting analysis and conclusions.
  • Support transaction teams throughout deal lifecycles, including preparing investment memorandums, pitch books, and presentations.
  • Participate in client meetings and coordinate with external stakeholders.
  • Develop complex financial models to evaluate scenarios, forecast performance, and simulate strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited institution required.
  • Master’s degree in finance or accounting preferred.
  • Additional certifications such as ASA, ABV, CVA, CFA, CPA, etc., preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of consulting experience preferred.
  • At least three years of academic or relevant work experience demonstrating skills in data analysis, statistical analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with mature judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills required.
