Overview
This role involves leading credit analytics for a Send Now Pay Later (SNPL) team within the financial technology sector. Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead credit analytics owner for the SNPL team, delivering credit insights
- Provide executive-level reporting on portfolio health, Non-Performing Loans (NPL) trends, and macroeconomic risk factors
- Optimize valuation frameworks, vintage analysis, and Net Present Value (NPV) credit models
- Design and build end-to-end credit analytics frameworks for SNPL and future digital credit products
- Manage the Acquisition Credit Policy to balance approval rates and default risk
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of analytical experience in Credit Risk, specifically in unsecured consumer lending, credit cards, or digital lending products
- Expert proficiency in SQL and statistical data modeling using Python, R, dbt, or similar data infrastructures
- Proven experience evaluating and defining credit policies with a strong understanding of growth and loss tradeoffs
- Familiarity with AI/ML, including collaboration with data scientists to evaluate predictive machine learning credit scorecards
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex portfolio metrics to executive teams
