Senior Finance Operations Manager

The Senior Finance Operations Manager role is responsible for accurate, compliant financial operations. This position manages billing, collections, sales tax compliance, reconciliations, and month-end close activities, and supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting to inform leadership decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, revenue, and deferred revenue reconciliations monthly.
• Prepare and issue customer and partner billing and monitor collections.
• Support month-end close through journal entries and coordination.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee sales and use tax filings and maintain documentation.
• Assist with annual budget and rolling forecast cycles.
• Prepare and distribute monthly budget variance analyses.
• Maintain and improve financial dashboards and reporting tools.
• Build and update financial models for strategic decision-making.
• Lead partisan electioneering spend analysis for compliance.
• Track grant expenses and prepare financial grant reports.
• Support audit preparations and tax filing processes.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate payroll allocations.
• Maintain data integrity across financial systems.

Requirements

• Strong accounting fundamentals and experience in financial operations.
• Proficiency in billing, collections, reconciliations, and compliance.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis.
• Ability to manage month-end close processes.
• Skilled in maintaining financial systems and data integrity.
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, with good judgment.
