Overview
This role involves joining the finance team as a detail-driven, analytically focused Senior Financial Analyst. The position partners with leaders across the organization to turn financial data into clear insight that supports decisions on budgets, forecasts, and go-to-market performance. Ownership includes departmental budgeting cycles and ongoing Budget vs. Actuals variance analysis, along with reporting and KPI monitoring for internal stakeholders and executive leadership.

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and forecasts for internal and external audiences.
- Own departmental budgeting cycles across the organization, partnering with department leads to:
- Build budgets
- Perform ongoing Budget vs. Actuals variance analysis
- Flag risks and opportunities to leadership
- Develop go-to-market (GTM) reporting metrics, including:
- Pipeline Generation
- Sales Cycle Duration
- Monitor week-over-week changes in Sales Forecast
- Manage commissions calculations, reporting, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy, timely payouts, and clear documentation of commission methodology for sales and finance stakeholders.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and assess the financial viability of new projects or initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare presentations for department leads and executive leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and interpret financial data, providing insights that enhance operational efficiency.
- Support financial audits and help ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Use AI tools (including Claude and ChatGPT) to build automated workflows that streamline financial reporting, variance analysis, and data reconciliation; stay current on emerging AI applications for finance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- 2–5 years of relevant corporate finance experience.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel and financial software).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and succinctly to varied audiences.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach and comfort working cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to build workflows or automate analysis.
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.com.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000 annual salary with a 3% bonus.
