Overview
This role involves driving business performance by providing financial and strategic insight through sound financial analysis, identifying and tracking key metrics, and serving as a valued business partner.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and deliver monthly and quarterly analyses, reports, and presentations ensuring accuracy, identifying key points, and developing recommendations
- Perform a wide range of ad hoc analyses of financial and operational data for trends and variances; present findings to business unit management
- Use historical trend information, changes in market and business environments, and strategic planning to create projections for budgeting or forecasting processes
- Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to business unit management
- Manage large data sets from disparate sources for data mining, analysis, and research projects
- Develop complex financial models for what-if analysis, scenario planning, and M&A activities
- Collaborate with team members and other departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- MBA preferred
- 4-7 years of experience in finance or related area
- Expertise in finance, economics, accounting principles and practices, financial markets, financial statements, valuation, and financial data analysis and reporting
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and solve problems using large data sets
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Essbase
- Ability to identify complex problems, evaluate options, and implement solutions
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking skills to assess strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities considering costs and benefits of potential actions
- Solid understanding of standard business concepts, practices, and procedures
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $113,300.00 annually
- Pay is based on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, and geographic location
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, paid sick leave, and an employee stock purchase plan (based on eligibility)
