Overview

A healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Financial & Analytics Analyst to join their team remotely. This is a full-time, permanent position with standard work hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Opportunities are available for remote work in multiple states including Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between Finance, Analytics, IT, and Pharmacy departments.
  • Develop expertise in data and systems used internally and externally by the Pharmacy Department.
  • Understand data content and business logic behind data transformations for reporting.
  • Gather requirements and perform data analysis to support process development and testing.
  • Document applications, data, and associated technologies relevant to the Pharmacy Department.
  • Collaborate across all lines of business and with various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in database management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managed care.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL, with preference for experience writing queries from scratch.
  • Experience working with datasets, including understanding table relationships, joins, and data flow across systems preferred.
  • Experience with Databricks or similar data engineering/big data platforms preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting (e.g., formulas, pivot tables) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and resolve problems using available resources preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual base salary range: $80,204.80 to $133,681.60.
  • Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
