PEPI: Director, CFO Services - Digital Finance (OPEN TO ALL US LOCATIONS)

Overview

This role supports private equity portfolio companies through CFO Services focused on Digital Finance transformation. The position is responsible for delivering solutions that preserve and generate value by improving transparency to key drivers, supporting increased cash and EBITDA, and working hands-on with clients to execute credible financial plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead Digital Finance transformation workstreams, with a proven focus on implementation and measurable outcomes
• Assess finance and accounting functions and implement digital technologies to improve efficiency and transparency, including:
  • RPA
  • Finance analytics
  • NLG
  • Predictive forecasting models
• Improve finance and accounting processes through automation and process enhancement
• Build and apply predictive forecasting models
• Support hypothesis/scope development, including:
  • Facilitate information gathering with clients
  • Guide and conduct client interviews to ensure relevant data is captured
  • Define the analyses needed to validate assumptions with accurate and timely execution
  • Apply industry and functional knowledge to identify business drivers and issues
  • Develop frameworks aligned to project parameters
  • Translate analytical results into actionable conclusions
• Lead project management and implementation activities, including:
  • Lead components across multiple service lines and independently lead smaller projects
  • Proactively manage client expectations, minimize risks, and reduce negative impacts
  • Develop straightforward, actionable plans and lead individual workstreams
  • Design cash-generating initiatives and EBITDA improvement efforts
  • Develop optimal organizational structures to drive client value
  • Anticipate risks and obstacles early; create contingency plans and communicate timely with clients
  • Collaborate with senior management and obtain buy-in from senior management/board members on actionable plans
• Provide leadership and client relationship management throughout the project lifecycle
• Take accountability for client and team-identified issues
• Build and leverage teams based on individuals’ strengths and capabilities
• Apply financial acumen across controllership, finance, and accounting advisory services, including:
  • Financial modeling and financial statement analysis
  • Understanding accounting treatments
  • Driving P&L and balance sheet accountability
  • Streamlining how information is captured and used within finance processes
  • Supporting change management using appropriate tools and resources

Requirements

• 4-year degree from an accredited college or university; educational concentration in relevant areas (accounting, finance, economics) preferred but not required
• Experience implementing Digital Finance technologies, including RPA, Predictive Forecasting, Finance Analytics, NLG, and data visualization
• Over 12 years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Accounting / Finance
  • Financial Due Diligence
  • Restructuring
  • Investment Banking
  • Private Equity
• Proficiency in understanding financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated expertise in building predictive forecasting models

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s Degree

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $150,000-$225,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography
• Discretionary bonus program based on factors including individual and firm performance (ask recruiter for details)
