Overview
The organization is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join the Pricing Team. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Senior Pricing Manager, working closely with partners and firm management.

Responsibilities
- Develop financial models to evaluate the impact of alternative fee structures and other rate/fee agreements, ensuring arrangements align with both client and firm goals.
- Collaborate with lawyers, practice management colleagues, and the marketing department to support responses to RFPs, pitches, and other pricing proposals.
- Partner with others to enter budgets and fee arrangement data into an online matter management tool, then monitor and provide regular status reports to partners and management.
- Manage the data-mining process for new and existing matters, including gathering and maintaining information on fee arrangements, matter types, cost drivers, and task coding.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure client financial arrangements are properly articulated, updated, and documented in the pricing database.
- Research and analyze client financial performance to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Monitor compliance with budgeting and pricing policies, including client guideline terms; provide guidance to attorneys and support staff as needed.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc practice management reports.
- Lead pricing and profitability discussions; provide data sets and expert input to support annual client pricing negotiations.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of pricing analysis experience with a law firm.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with emphasis in finance, cost, and pricing.
- Understanding of accounting and business principles.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to present professionally and communicate confidently with personnel at all levels.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Major (if applicable): Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
Computer / Software Knowledge
- Fluency with advanced features of Excel.
- Experience with legal accounting systems (preferably Aderant).
- Proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to quickly learn and use software systems required for assigned responsibilities.
Work Environment
- Work is conducted indoors with limited exposure to hazards (consistent with office/high-rise environments).
- You will be based in one of the organization’s local offices, with the ability to work from home.
- In-office attendance is required on an as-needed basis.
- After-hours and weekend work may be required on occasion as workload requires.

California
- Salary range: $70,000 - $130,000 per year
Illinois
- Salary range: $70,000 - $130,000 per year
- Eligible for bonuses
