Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s):

  • AL, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, WV, WI, WY

This position supports the design and execution of centralized SOC reviews as part of a Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program. The role performs financial risk reviews of third parties and supports the Third-Party Risk Management Operations team with risk assessments, third-party due diligence, and TPRM lifecycle activity completion.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying Risk: Lead the design and implementation of process evaluation methods and develop expert solutions to address identified risks.
    • Partner with management to ensure risk strategies are effective and compliant.
    • Create, evaluate, and execute models or simulation scenarios to test risk conditions (as needed).
  • Data Analysis: Source, compile, and interpret data.
    • Perform complex analysis for risk trends and data discrepancies.
    • May direct the analytics efforts of the work group.
  • Reporting: Produce reports based on data analysis, company trends, and risk factors.
    • Communicate patterns, problems, and areas of improvement.
    • Enable insight into potential losses and mitigation of identified risks through reporting.
  • Operational Support: Support business processes through a variety of escalated operational tasks.
    • Develop, implement, and ensure continuous improvement of procedures.
    • Serve as a resource to management and other associates, including producing documentation, presentations, or other materials to educate on risk policies and procedures.
    • Handle complex technical matters and participate in special projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum Required Education and Experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years’ experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years’ experience in risk management, or financial analysis, or statistical modeling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred
  • Experience in Third-Party Risk Management
  • Experience analyzing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
