Sr Accountant

Overview

A healthcare-focused organization is seeking a Senior Accountant I to join their Accounting and Finance team. This role involves supporting day-to-day accounting activities and month-end financial reporting, as well as participating in quarterly and annual financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting transactions across various business processes including revenue, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Assist in month-end close activities such as posting journal entries
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Conduct variance analysis comparing actual to forecast and month-over-month results
• Prepare quarterly internal controls documentation
• Support quarterly and annual financial statement audits in collaboration with auditors
• Collaborate with multiple project teams across the organization
• Participate in special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
• Experience in the healthcare industry

Compensation & Benefits

• Expected base salary range: $85,000
• Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance available to qualifying employees
• Compensation is based on skills and experience and may vary above or below the stated amount
