Sr. Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

Overview

The organization’s Distribution Segment is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Finance Team. This role provides business analysis and forecasting to support Distribution Segment operations. The position requires comfort working in a distribution environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently as a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct financial support for numerous locations, including support for Mexico Specialty branch locations along with capital project tracking, review, and planning
• Perform monthly cost and variance analysis
• Complete assigned financial reporting needs
• Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
• Assist with internal and external audit-related activities
• Conduct ad hoc analysis, reporting, and project support as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance/Accounting)
• 5+ years of experience with financial analysis and reconciliation processes
• Proficiency in Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office products
• Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team/collaborative environment
• Familiarity and comfort with a distribution environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Alteryx
• Experience with JD Edwards and Hyperion
• Bilingual/Spanish
