Overview

A rapidly growing package delivery company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support transportation operations across more than 100 sites. This role involves building financial models, driving operational decisions, and collaborating with operations teams to improve processes and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial analysis models to support operational decision-making
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives and contribute to long-range planning and annual budgeting
  • Automate existing financial models and tools to support scaling of the transportation network
  • Conduct operations and cost planning for the network
  • Perform weekly and monthly variance analysis and reporting
  • Evaluate and enhance methodologies underlying business models and tools
  • Collaborate with operations personnel to drive process improvements, productivity gains, and cost savings
  • Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial results reporting
  • Facilitate financial review meetings with key business partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or related field
  • Strong financial and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Proven leadership and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply problem-solving and critical thinking in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with SQL, Power BI, and large data analysis is highly desirable
  • Occasional travel as needed
