Sr. Financial Analyst, Lowes (Remote / Hybrid)

This role supports the Retail Tools & Outdoor team as a remote/hybrid employee.
Responsibilities
- Deliver financial analysis, reporting, forecasting support, and decision support to drive growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to provide insights into business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support execution of commercial and financial objectives.
- Serve as a finance business partner for the Lowes commercial account team.
- Support monthly financial close processes for the Lowes commercial business, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results and variances.
- Develop, analyze, and report financial results, quarterly forecasts, and annual operating plan inputs to support business planning and decision-making.
- Oversee controls for trade spending processes, including proactive monitoring of forecasted accruals and planned promotional spending.
- Provide actionable insights on sales performance, margin trends, and profitability drivers.
- Partner with sales and operations teams to evaluate promotional activities, pricing strategies, and new business opportunities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and highlight risks and opportunities to support corrective actions.
- Support contract analysis, rebate calculations, and compliance with financial policies and processes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance financial reporting, forecasting, and analytics.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and support interactions with Lowes counterparts, as needed.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis, preferably within a Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Commercial Finance environment.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; effective oral and written communication; strong interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally to develop data-driven recommendations.
- Demonstrated financial systems acumen, including the ability to use financial tools and systems to support accurate reporting, analysis, and informed decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with Power BI, Hyperion HFM, SAP, or equivalent systems is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $77,600.00 - $124,900.00 (annual full-time)
- The salary offered within the range may vary based on job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and in compliance with local wage requirements.
