Overview
A Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) position is available within the Corporate Development (M&A) team. This role supports development and growth initiatives including acquisitions, joint venture de novos, and divestitures. The position offers a primarily remote work option with the possibility to work from the North Bethesda, MD office alongside senior team members.
Responsibilities
- Build complex Excel valuation models for acquisitions and divestitures
- Evaluate deals using discounted cash flow analyses and financial metrics such as IRR and EBITDA multiples
- Create pro forma income and cash flow statements for potential joint ventures
- Manage the due diligence process, including leading site visits, coordinating with sellers, collecting data, and ensuring thorough review
- Prepare presentations and proposals for potential sellers, joint venture partners, senior management, and board members
- Collaborate with Transaction Directors and legal teams on negotiation and drafting of definitive agreements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field from a top undergraduate program
- 2-4 years of transaction-oriented analytical experience; preferred backgrounds include investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory, or corporate development
- Significant direct transaction experience required
- Strong finance, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deal environment
- Self-starter with problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Effective communicator and relationship builder with diverse stakeholders
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 to $110,000 per year
- Location-specific minimum wages apply, including New York and Washington state minimums
