Stop Loss Analyst

Overview

This role involves providing overall support to the stop loss insurance practice by collaborating closely with specialty practices, stop loss carriers, and local account service teams. Responsibilities

• Create reports to analyze results from stop loss insurance placements.
• Support data collection from multiple sources to provide credible and reliable performance data to internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in vendor and stop loss carrier meetings.
• Coordinate efficient workflow between local service teams and various internal systems.
• Manage special projects such as benchmarking and book of business reporting.
• Support clinical risk consultants with projects and claims data reporting.
• Negotiate with stop loss carriers to secure competitive rates and coverage for clients.
• Ensure compliance with agency management system data standards and maintain data integrity by entering and maintaining complete and accurate information.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, insurance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• Two (2) or more years of related work experience.
• Significant experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding and experience with stop loss insurance is a plus.
