Overview
A global digital sports platform serving over 100 million sports fans worldwide is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager for its Betting & Gaming division. The organization partners with approximately 900 sports properties, including major leagues, teams, colleges, athletes, and celebrities, and supports over 2,000 retail locations. With a workforce exceeding 22,000 employees, the company focuses on enhancing the fan experience and expanding its global reach.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the comprehensive long-term financial model, including strategic target setting and performance reporting.
- Establish and track operational key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with corporate financial goals.
- Lead commercial business analytics, including product profitability, customer lifetime value (LTV), growth investments, and micro-pricing models.
- Provide data-driven insights and structured recommendations to identify corporate risks and business opportunities.
- Conduct complex, ad hoc financial analyses for high-priority commercial projects and initiatives.
- Drive corporate performance management and foster alignment on critical growth items among executive leadership.
- Travel regularly to various corporate offices and industry events for stakeholder meetings and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment banking or private equity, OR 4+ years in professional investment research with increasing responsibility.
- Experience working within public multinational companies is preferred.
- Strong financial modeling capabilities, complex data manipulation skills, and sharp analytical thinking.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proven experience presenting data models to senior management, with strong attention to detail and data visualization skills.
- Ability to design cross-functional processes from scratch, adapt to organizational change, and demonstrate experience growing and leading financial teams.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $120,000 to $160,000 USD per year.
- Final compensation varies based on country and state of residence within defined corporate geographical zones.
- Total rewards package includes base salary, performance-based corporate bonus incentives, and a full-time employment benefits portfolio.
