Overview
This role offers a Venture Capital Internship opportunity with an asset manager that manages over 500 mil. EUR and invests Europe-wide across venture capital, private equity, life sciences, and real estate. The internship provides exposure to the European fund and startup ecosystem, with flexible duration and work mode.
Internship duration can be summer/semester/year, and work can be office or home office (upon agreement with the asset manager). The ideal duration is 6 months, with individual arrangements possible and a preference for long-term cooperation.
Responsibilities
- Support analysts and asset managers in daily activities, including:
- Reporting on investment decisions and portfolio developments
- Financial modeling
- Preparing presentations
- Industry research
- Participating in calls with partners
- Assist with preparing fundraising presentations.
- Collaborate with colleagues from the VC team on leading investment into projects related to alternative assets.
Requirements
- Proactive fast learner with an analytical mindset
- Outgoing colleague with a strong work ethic
- International background and excellent command of English
- Strong research skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Preferred C2 level Czech language (native or bilingual speakers)
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in finance (VC/Investment Banking) or advisory is an advantage
