2027 Investment Accounting & Reporting Internship

Overview

This internship opportunity is with the Investment Accounting & Reporting team. The role supports financial data analysis, report preparation, process improvement efforts, and research to assist with daily work, plus monthly and quarterly reporting.

The internship runs for 12 weeks and is fully remote for Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the accounting close and reporting cycles, including ledger and holdings reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Support quarterly reporting and analysis, working with GAAP and Statutory reporting teams for appropriate disclosure presentation and language
• Support cash operations and cash custody deliverables
• Prepare journal entries, financial analytics, management reports, and schedules for internal/external auditors, along with other related deliverables
• Research and document accounting issues; prepare/draft new or updated accounting analyses and policies
• Identify areas for improvement and complete projects in collaboration with a project lead
• Produce high-quality work products, incorporating review comments and resolving issues with minimal guidance

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
• Strong process improvement skills and ability to “think outside the box”
• Desire to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Range: $22.00–25.00
• Fully remote internship; equipment is shipped to support working from home
