Accountant (Remote)

Overview

• Role: Senior Accountant (Remote)

• Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year

This position involves overseeing monthly and annual accounting close processes while ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards. The role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data in compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze variances and provide actionable insights.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Support external audits and tax filings by maintaining documentation and addressing inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification or CPA candidate status preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting or large corporate environments.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $110,000 to $150,000 annually.
