Full-Time | Up to $48,000/year | US Remote
This role involves supporting the financial operations of a fast-growing YouTube-focused agency. The organization specializes in YouTube strategy, content programming, and building in-house teams for major brands. The team has extensive experience generating billions of views and working with influential YouTube creators and brands.
Responsibilities
- Manage client invoicing and cash receipt processing
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule
- Process contractor payments
- Process vendor invoices and execute timely payments
- Review and process employee expenses and reimbursements
- Maintain and reconcile records in QuickBooks Online
- Support month-end review and reporting
- Maintain and update financial forecasts
- Ensure accuracy of financial data across all financial systems
- Maintain financial systems and integrations to improve efficiency, including centralizing contracts and financial documentation
- Build and maintain financial forecasts, reporting, and analysis using Google Sheets
- Ensure all financial records are properly stored, organized, and audit-ready
- Continuously improve internal financial processes and documentation standards
Requirements
- 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Recent graduates with relevant accounting, bookkeeping, or internship experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong working experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, including building spreadsheets for reporting or analysis
- Solid understanding of payroll and accounts payable/receivable processes
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized and self-directed, able to work effectively in a remote environment
- Strong communication skills and an ownership mindset
- Excited to learn quickly and grow into increasing responsibility
- Experience in advertising, agency, or professional services businesses is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and work proactively
- Interest in growing into a fully autonomous finance role within 6–12 months
