Accounting Advisory Consultant

Overview

An experienced Accounting Policy and SEC Reporting professional is sought to support multiple client engagements on a project basis. This contract role is fully remote and extends through the end of the year, with a possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting, financial reporting, and business transformation projects for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
• Research, interpret, and apply U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, providing guidance on complex accounting matters and technical accounting issues.
• Assist clients with transactions and special projects, including new accounting standard implementation, financial close optimization, carve-outs, purchase accounting, and reporting process improvements.
• Collaborate with client leadership and cross-functional teams to develop practical solutions, prepare analyses and deliverables, and ensure timely project execution and compliance with reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related fields.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting.
• Must reside in the continental United States.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future; employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
