Accounting Associate

Overview

An accounting associate position is available at a growing tax and accounting firm. This full-time remote role offers a salary range of $45,000 to $50,000 per year. The position requires an associate degree and 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Enter and reconcile financial transactions
• Assist with bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online
• Prepare and organize documents for tax returns
• Support payroll processing and related filings
• Maintain accurate client records and digital files
• Communicate with clients to request documents and answer basic questions
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team
• Complete other accounting and office tasks as assigned
