Accounting Associate (Remote)

Overview

This fully remote position within the United States supports accounting and contract/labor operations by processing and reconciling subcontractor labor transactions. The role also assists with maintaining accurate records, tracking deliverables, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile subcontractor labor transactions
• Support contract and labor accounting operations
• Maintain accurate records and tracking of deliverables
• Review and process documentation as needed
• Support onboarding and staffing activities
• Monitor task status and deadlines
• Assist with invoicing and labor tracking
• Maintain databases and spreadsheets
• Prepare reports and support labor reporting activities
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and subcontractors to resolve issues and support timely completion of assignments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years of experience (or commensurate experience)
• Demonstrated experience using Deltek Costpoint
• Knowledge of subcontractor management, including vendor and employee setup
• Understanding of work assignments, timekeeping, timesheet corrections, voucher processing, labor reporting, and related financial processes
• Experience working in a government contracting environment
• Understanding of contract structures
• Knowledge of task orders and their requirements
• Familiarity with labor categories and rate structures
• Awareness of periods of performance and funding processes
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and audit considerations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting government contracting, finance, operations, or program management functions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Posted salary range: USD $60,000.00 - USD $78,000.00 /Yr.
