Overview
This contract role is for an Accounting Expert within an exclusive expert network program. The position involves providing high-level financial advisory services to a client team, focusing on complex accounting challenges and strategic decision-making in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
Responsibilities
- Advise the client’s core team on complex accounting issues and critical business decisions.
- Participate in client calls to evaluate and provide insights on potential new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with technical staff to contribute expert domain knowledge to new research projects.
- Develop and review sample scenarios and tasks to test and improve accounting processes.
- Assess and communicate risks beyond compliance, identifying potential organizational impacts.
- Translate complex financial data and risks into clear recommendations for non-finance stakeholders.
- Promote best practices in reconciliation, compliance, and practical risk assessment.
Requirements
- Expert-level judgment in resolving ambiguous accounting issues and organizational uncertainty.
